The Rat Pack is Back....or is it?

(PRWEB) September 25, 2004 -- When three tribute artists, John Morello of Toronto as Dean Martin, Christopher Jay Spraggins of Virginia Beach as Sammy Davis, Jr. and Michael Mirand of Buffalo as Frank Sinatra in a Las Vegas-style dinner show, 'The New York Rat Pack' take over the stage, then suddenly one is back in the 60s on the Las Vegas Strip and remembering the movie "OCEANS 11".

Their interpretation of these three great entertainers is so life-like, that one has to really look twice to make sure one is not dreaming.

The Rat Pack were a hit, when they performed at Villa Fortunata's in Lewiston, US, singing the old songs that Frank, Sammy and Dean were famous for, like "Fly Me to the Moon", "My Way", "Candy Man", "That Old Black Magic", "Everybody Loves Somebody Sometime", and "Return to Me". They even threw in some of the jokes typical of the humour that made these famous three! The audience participation - especially the ladies - made it clear that the appeal of Frank Sinatra Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr. was still around, despite the fact that they left us some time ago -what man from their era cannot honestly say that he too would have liked to have been one of Sinatra's Rat Pack, their sex appeal, the fact they were what one would say "real men". Their memory lives on through the New York Rat Pack with all these wonderful traits as long as these Tribute artists continue with their fabulous stage show. We hope they continue for the same length of time, that the original Rat Pack did.

Christopher Jay Spraggins formed the group about a year ago and they're performing from Toronto to North Carolina right now and dreaming of some day making Las Vegas. With this much talent it will not be long before the bright lights will be calling on them to 'come quick'. This is a talent that should be back in Las Vegas where it originated from - even if with Tributes.

If you have the chance to see this show, then I suggest that you make the effort, it will certainly be worth it.
