Bond Is Back And The Spill Review Is In

Review of Quantum of Solace now available from Spill.com.

New York, NY (PRWEB) November 16, 2008 -- Spill.com (www.spill.com) known for its irreverent, animated movie reviews, has released its review of 'Quantum of Solace', the twenty-second film starring the famous fictional spy James Bond which premiered in theaters on Friday, November 14.

'Quantum of Solace' begins where the last James Bond entry, 'Casino Royale', left off. Bond (Daniel Craig) is en route to Siena, and has to outrun pursuers in the first minutes of the film. Once safe, he and M (Judi Dench) interrogate Mr. White (Jesper Christensen) who tells them that Vesper, Bond's love interest in 'Royale', was blackmailed by a dangerous and mysterious crime organization. During his mission to track down the mystery syndicate, Bond meets Camille (Olga Kurylenko) who leads him to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric) a businessman with ties to the organization.

The title of the film comes from a short story by James Bond author Ian Fleming, but the plot is not based on it, since again, 'Quantum' was written to be a direct sequel to 'Royale', the highest-grossing Bond film of all time. Filming took place in Spain, Mexico, Italy, South America, and at Pinewood Studios in London, the film base for many of the Bond films throughout the years.

Early reviews of this latest movie release appear to be mixed, with die-hard Bond, and Daniel Craig fans speaking to the continuity of 'Royale' and 'Quantum', and the fast-paced car sequences in the beginning and middle of the film. Criticism has centered on what some feel is a thin plot and poor character development.

Before you see 007 in action, make sure to watch the Spill.com review first to get the real story. Remember the Spill motto: "If it's crap, we'll tell you."
