First, Convey Chief Scientist and industry notable Steve Wallach (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Wallach) gave the keynote address "Processor Architecture: Past, Present, Future" to the attendees of the second international workshop on High Performance Reconfigurable Computing Technology and Applications (HPRCTA) held in conjunction with SC08 at 8:30 a.m. this morning.

This evening, the company was honored with a 2008 HPCwire Readers' and Editors' Choice Award as one of the Top 5 Vendors to Watch in 2009.

Tomorrow at 3:30 p.m., Steve Wallach will moderate and present "High Performance Proteomics Applications Boosted with Convey's New Way of Computing," a joint exhibitor forum panel between University of California, San Diego and Convey.

On Wednesday at 1:30 p.m., Wallach will give his Plenary session for the Seymour Cray Award: Processor Architecture: Past, Present, and Future

At 11:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, Convey CTO and company co-founder Tony Brewer will present: Hybrid-Core Computing: Extending Intel Xeon Architectures for Application Specific Environments at the Intel Theater (booth #1609).

Finally, SC08 caps off for Convey with IEEE's presentation of the prestigious Seymour Cray Award to Steve Wallach at 1:30 p.m.
