The following categories have been voted on with the awards to be announced on Jan. 7th, 2009.

1. Rugby Player of the year

2. Coach of the year

3. Club/State/Franchise of the year

4. Young player of the year (Must be 20 or Under on Dec. 31st, 2008)

The votes have been compiled from a select number of Rugby Union journalists, press officers and contributors to the heavensgame.com website. Ranging from Russia to New Zealand, Ireland and plenty of other nations in between.
