Lottery.com Goes Live with Text Alerts

Lottery.com goes live with a new text messaging service that distributes nationwide state lottery results to mobile phones.

(PRWEB) September 30, 2004 -- Lottery.com goes live with a new text messaging service that distributes nationwide state lottery results to mobile phones. Lottery.com is a service of Games Inc. (OTC BB:GMSI), a leading provider of lottery and games content.

The new text alert service is being offered to North American cell phone subscribers. Approximately 200 games in some 40 states and Canada are now available for Lottery.com users to sign up for, and receive the lottery results on their phone.

Games, Inc. is leveraging SMS Media Group's SMSdelivery.net text messaging platform and its Ads2Cell mobile ad-serving technology to provide the text alerts. The service is free for subscribers to receive, with the exception of messaging fees a carrier may charge. The lottery results will include sponsorship at the bottom of the messages to offset the cost. Games Inc. is appreciative of the business from SMS Media Group and looks forward to a long and profitable relationship together", said Roger Ach, CEO of Games Inc.

"Lottery results are perfect content for the mobile phone allowing lotto players to receive the winning numbers no matter where they located," says Gary Brooks, President of SMS Media Group. "Games Inc. is a wonderful addition to our text messaging network," remarks Brooks.

If you are a lotto player and wish to register for the text alerts, go to http://www.lottery.com and click Text Alerts from their home page.
