Xian Network Manager 2005 extends the capabilities of Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 into the heterogeneous computing environment.

(PRWEB) October 1, 2004

SAN JOSE, CA (PRWEB) October 1, 2004 — Jalasoft Inc., a provider of advanced systems management products, today announced its new US Channel Program that offers Partners the opportunity to deliver more complete enterprise systems management solutions based on Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM 2005). Jalasoft Partners will be able to deliver broader enterprise systems management solutions that extend the robust capabilities of MOM 2005 into the heterogeneous computing environment through the deployment of Xian Network Manager 2005.

Jalasoft’s Xian Network Manager and Smart Management Packs extend the capabilities of MOM 2005 to the heterogeneous computing environment, providing a unified view of systems, applications, and the network, via the MOM platform.

“Our product, Xian Network Manager 2005, is a natural fit for Solution Providers that are already delivering world-class enterprise management solutions based on Microsoft Operations Manager 2005,” said Jorge Lopez, CEO of Jalasoft. “Extending the capabilities of MOM 2005 farther into the heterogeneous computing environment with Xian Network Manager 2005, while utilizing the powerful capabilities of the MOM platform, will allow our Partners to deliver a more comprehensive, integrated and cost-effective systems management solution to small, medium, and large enterprises.”

“Customers are asking for solutions that drive down the cost and complexity of managing a heterogeneous environment,” said David Hamilton, director of the Windows and Enterprise Management Division at Microsoft Corp. “We’re delighted to see Jalasoft’s Xian2005 Network Manager for MOM integrating with MOM 2005 to extend management capabilities by offering new functionality for improved network performance and reliability.”

“The market for proactive enterprise systems management solutions to increase availability, reduce operational costs, and improve the ROI from IT infrastructure investments is already substantial and growing rapidly,” said Lopez. “We see significant opportunities for our Partners to leverage the combined capabilities of MOM and Xian Network Manager to meet these requirements for small, medium, and large enterprises, and capture a significant portion of this market.”

The Jalasoft Partner Program is opened to qualified solution providers who currently deliver solutions based on MOM to small, medium, and/or larger enterprises. Partners must meet certain business and technical criteria for program participation. Two levels of program participation are available to better serve the business objectives of program participants.
