Mayor of Cleveland Visits BlueBridge Networks

(PRWEB) October 11, 2004 -- The Honorable Mayor Jane Campbell, of Cleveland, OH, was the keynote speaker at the initial Downtown Tech 25 event on September 30, 2004. The event was held at BlueBridge Networks, LLC (BlueBridge") tier-one Internet Data Center located in downtown Cleveland, OH. The event began at 5:30pm.

The Downtown Tech 25 (DT25") is an affiliation of technology companies whose main offices, headquarters or significant operations are located in downtown Cleveland, OH. DT25s mission is to support the economic development initiatives of the City of Cleveland with the express purpose of fostering an environment where more technology companies relocate their offices or headquarters to the downtown Cleveland area.

The DT25 proposed that the initial event be held at the BlueBridge facility at 1255 Euclid Avenue. This initial event introduced the DT25 to the civic and economic development leadership of Cleveland and Northeast Ohio -- with primary emphasis on the Mayor of Cleveland. This event offered an opportunity for the Mayor to speak on her continued support of economic development for technology-based companies.

In addition to BlueBridge other key sponsors were: Northeast Ohio Software Association (NEOSA") and McCarthy Lebit Crystal & Liffman, a landmark law firm specializing in complex tax issues and general corporate matters.
