AshleysOrganics.com was founded by Pauline Lewis in March 2007. For Lewis, a longtime proponent of organic and natural products, choosing the product line for her site was an easy choice.

"I was suffering from migraines, and I used lavender aromatherapy to help lessen the pain," said Lewis. "I was really impressed with the results. When I started my online business, I decided to sell the kind of products that helped me."

Not wanting to perpetuate the idea that aromatherapy is only for adults, Lewis ensured that her product line included products for kids as well. Most notably, this includes the newly added foam bath options.
