Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) November 26, 2008 -- InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Scappoose, Ore., has designed a crank-actuated device to lift downed game out in the wilderness for field-dressing. This invention is patented and a prototype is available.

The "Portable Game Pole" would enable a hunter to lift deer and other large game safely and without assistance. The strong, tip-resistant design would hold the animal in the raised position for an extended period of time, making it possible to complete skinning and butchering, and to allow the inside of the carcass to cool. The lightweight design of this device would make it convenient to transport to and from a hunting site.

The Portable Game Pole consists of a dual wrench mechanism attached to an upright frame. Steel cables connect the winch to a lift bar installed within tracks on the inside of the frame. A row of eye bolts are built onto the underside of the bar. Also, the legs feature a triangular support on each side to enhance stability. To use, a hunter attaches ropes around the animal, ties the ropes to the eye bolts, then uses the crank to lift the carcass. An optional, snap-on rib spreader may be used in conjunction with the device.

InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
