Wisconsin-based Gift Site Announces a New Blog WisconsinGourmetGifts.com looks to utilize customer feedback and interaction through its newly launched blog. Appleton, WI (PRWEB) November 28, 2008 -- WisconsinGourmetGifts.com, a site which exclusively carries Wisconsin-made food, crafts, and personal care products, announced the debut of their new blog, WisconsinGourmetGiftsBlog.com.
Founded in March 2008 by Lois Dennik, Wisconsin Gourmet Gifts is based around the principle that homemade crafts and food will always prove better and of higher quality than their mass produced counterparts.
"We don't claim to be the biggest," said Dennik. "But we are the best. No other site can match the kind of quality and selection of Wisconsin-made products that we offer."
Although there are scheduled updates, such as the implementation of a new blog, the site's layout will not be affected. Through any site changes, all the major categories of products offered will remain the same. As seasonal items become relevant or irrelevant, however, the featured products on the homepage will rotate.
"I want to make sure the site is always changing, but I also want it to remain familiar for repeat customers," said Dennik. "Keeping the site interesting and dynamic is priority number one, and our new blog will really help with that."
The blog will serve as an informative platform for interested customers to learn more about the food and crafts made in the Wisconsin area and those offered through WisconsinGourmetGifts.com. All topics will revolve around uniquely Wisconsin foods, art, crafts, and products.
"Whether you want to know about beer bread or cherry berry oatmeal chip cookies, the blog will provide helpful information to our customers," said Dennik. "We're really excited by the idea that our customers can finally interact with our site in a meaningful way."

Growing up in Wisconsin, Lois Dennik had a lot of exposure to the unique food, crafts, and treasures offered by the state. After her retirement from a career as a claims representative, she was particularly inspired by her part-time work in a kitchen store with Wisconsin-made gourmet food. With this unique experience in mind, Dennik decided to launch WisconsinGourmetGifts.com in March 2008. The site, which is associated with several noted Wisconsin vendors, contains a wide variety of food, craft, home décor, and personal care products. Each item on the site, from jewelry to gift baskets, has been handmade in Wisconsin. A portion of the site's proceeds will go towards putting Dennik's grandchildren through college.
