Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F. ®), one of the nation's leaders in health promotion and prevention education, will kick off its fifteenth annual Northwest Wellness Conference for Seniors this Sunday in Seaside, Oregon. The six-day event, which begins on October 17 and runs through October 22, will bring seniors from Washington and Oregon together to address healthy aging topics. As in years past, the regional conference will provide a forum to share the latest research, information and skills for seniors, individually and community-wide, to focus on maintaining and improving health and quality of life.

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) October 14, 2004 -- As one of the nations leaders in health promotion and prevention education, Comprehensive Health Education Foundation (C.H.E.F. ®) will kick off its fifteenth annual Northwest Wellness Conference for Seniors this Sunday in Seaside, Oregon. The Conference, to be held at the Seaside Convention Center on the Oregon coast, will feature a distinguished panel of keynote speakers, led by Wendy Lustbader, a nationally known speaker and author of several books, including Counting on Kindness, Whats Worth Knowing, and Taking Care of Aging Family Members. Other keynote presenters include David Spero, a registered nurse and author of The Art of Getting Well: Maximizing Health When You Have a Chronic Illness; Martin Collis, PhD, an educator, writer, scientist, and singer with a passion for promoting wellness; and Alene Moris, a counselor, educator life planning consultant and activist with a unique perspective on the role of older adults in society.
