About Stan Schatt Prior to Current Analysis, Schatt served as Vice President and Research Director of Forrester Research, where he was responsible for managing analysts and developing new research-oriented products in the communications area. In this role, he provided leading technology vendors including Cisco, Microsoft, Hewlett Packard, Enterasys, and others with both strategic and tactical marketing advice as well as advice on targeting vertical campaigns.
From 1992-1998, Schatt held the title of Vice President & Research Director of ZD Market Intelligence and Computer Intelligence. In this capacity, he was responsible for managing research staff, developing surveys, and providing call center coordination, in addition to developing and authoring research products. In his time at ZD Market Intelligence, Schatt worked closely with major vendors such as IBM and Microsoft and conducted focus groups.
Schatt was also President and proprietor of Network Associates; a high-tech focused marketing consulting firm. In this role, Schatt worked with technology clients to help them develop marketing campaigns by developing marketing materials and writing technical manuals.
Stan Schatt received his PhD from the University of Southern California, an MBA from the American Grad School of International Management in Marketing, and his Bachelors from Arizona State University.
