A Touch of the Irish

University, features vivacious Celtic storyteller Yvonne Healy.

Healy is said not to have merely kissed the Blarney Stone but to have swallowed it. An immigrant herself, this 2004 Storyteller of the Year finalist grew up in America before acting professionally in New Yorks theaters and soap operas. Writing tales both comic and mysterious, Healy talks her way across America. Healys work earned the highest awards from National Parenting Publications Association, Americas Story Festival and Childrens Music Organization and is selected for Michigan Arts & Humanities Touring Program.
