Venue Services Group Opens Northwest office

White Plains, NY-based Systems Integrator broadens national base with full-service office in Redmond, WA

Venue Services Group, a systems integration firm experienced in mobile unit construction, fixed facilities, cabling infrastructures and consulting, with concentration on HDTV, has opened a regional office in Redmond, Washington. The new office is staffed by former MediaTel, Inc. personnel, who are most noted for their craftsmanship in building and maintaining corporate conference rooms, including those on the campuses of Microsoft and many other companies in the Washington area.

VSG, which recently completed HD mobile unit construction of National Mobile Television’s HD7 and HD8; fixed facilities of Arrowhead Pond’s arena control room and Free Chapel Worship Center sanctuary; cabling infrastructures at Fenway Park and Fleet Center; and consulting jobs for The Lightship Group and Fox Sports Net Chicago, expands its capabilities to the corporate conference room market.

VSG expands its staff with several former MediaTel employees, including industry veterans Sam Abousamra, Andy Blyth and Dennis Droz, each with over 20 years of dedicated professional broadcast and audio engineering expertise. Noted for their recent work in corporate conference rooms, these gentlemen are accomplished professionals, with in-the-trenches engineering experience at multiple Olympic Games as well as other major sporting and entertainment events. The new staff recently completed a live uplink project for retailer Hollister Co., delivering footage from the Huntington Beach, CA pier to stores nationwide as part of a retail broadcasting trial.
