People Leave Costumes to Last Minute While many people plan months in advance to create the perfect Costume", many leave things to the last week. Pierres Costumes in Philadelphia has seen this trend towards procrastination for many, many seasons. Some people always seem to remember that they need a costume for the party just at the last minute. Philadelphia, PA ( PRWEB) October 25, 2004 -- If I had a dollar for every customer who came in telling me that they forgot to get a costume, and need one right away, Id be able to retire!" Said Rich Williamson President of Pierres Costumes in Philadelphia. We are incredibly busy throughout the month of October, but especially so during the last week leading up to Halloween" he continued. These customers come into the shop in a panic, but always leave with a smile on their face.
It is human nature to procrastinate. People have so much on their minds that getting a costume is buried on the list of things to do this week. Luckily for those people who are busy, we have lots of solutions," said Williamson. We can offer them anything from an inexpensive mask and cape, to an over the top hand-made Marie-Antoinette." He continued, Our staff are well educated and trained in talking customers through the process. They typically have to actually rein the customer in... to focus them since we have over a million costume pieces."
Williamson offered the following tips: Try not to get overwhelmed in the choices. Stick to a basic theme, and dont change your mind from that. Once you have decided on a look, try to get that costume created properly." If you are stuck and have to wait until the last minute, a hand-made Venetian mask along with a Velvet hooded cape can make a really nice statement. We could costume you in that in under 5 minutes" Dont assume make-up and latex pieces are hard to use. We have novice customers who come in not knowing much about make-up. We teach them a few things, and they come back after Halloween with pictures of their great looking make-up."
The bottom line is to not stress out. Go to a year round reputable Costume shop. Find an educated staff member and put yourself in their hands. You will often find that if you are into it, they will be too, and you will be amazed at the great results youll get (even at the last minute).
