Californian Develops Hand-Held 'Personal' Food Tester to Enable Healthy Eating Habits

VitaScan from Percolator Works pre-tests a persons tolerance to food and beverages for health reasons.

Watsonville, CA (PRWEB) October 27, 2004 -- Today, Percolator Works Scientist and Biofeedback pioneer, Buryl Payne, Ph.D. and London-born technologist, Peter Mackeonis announced the availability of the VitaScan, an innovative hand-held instrument for testing an individuals tolerance to foods and beverages -- even to electronics, such as cellphones.

The brain of the VitaScan is an electronically controlled 'pressure pad' which establishes a pre and post exposure reading to substances. In simple terms, the VitaScan pre-reads the bodys reaction, using a proprietary version of Applied Kinesiology," said Dr. Payne and this is so important in todays cancer-scare world of fast food additives, dubious vitamin supplements and prescription drugs, with so many unwanted side effects." Mackeonis commented that, anyone who is interested in their health would greatly benefit from using the VitaScan to test their body's reaction to such food items as white sugar, bleached flour, vitamins, coffee, alcohol, and various meats and vegetables. They will not be disappointed."

The VitaScan is the first in a range of 'Advanced Technology Personal Care Products to be launched by Payne and Mackeonis over the next twelve months, and they are interested in talking to distributors for their products.

VitaScan Personal Food Testers are available from PercolatorWorks on the web at www.percolator.com/VitaScan/ for $199 a unit.
