The Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Donald Nicolaisen, will be the keynote speaker at the SEC Institute 20th Annual National SEC Reporting Conference.

Washington, DC (PRWEB) October 27, 2004 -- The Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Donald Nicolaisen, will be the keynote speaker at the SEC Institute 20th Annual National SEC Reporting Conference. The keynote address is scheduled for Monday, November 1, 2004, from 8:00-8:45 a.m.

The National SEC Reporting Conference is the premier year-end update for financial officers. Focusing on S.E.C. rules, regulations and the latest key developments in financial accounting, the event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, Pentagon City, (Arlington, VA). This years hottest topics are, among others, the new Form 8-K rules, Sarbanes-Oxleys Section 404 on Internal Controls and the FASBs Share-based payment proposal. As usual, updates from the Division of Corporation Finance, Office of the Chief Accountant and Enforcement are also scheduled.
