Craig Taylor Appointed Vice President of Sales, Venue Services Group

Broadcast Industry Veteran Brings More Than 25 Years Expertise to National Systems Integrator

WHITE PLAINS, NY (PRWEB) October 29, 2004 -- Craig Taylor has been named to the position of Vice President of Sales for Venue Services Group (VSG) by company president, Dave Shaw. VSG, a national systems integration firm that provides engineering, design and installation of television facilities, is renowned for their High Definition Television (HDTV) experience.

Taylor will head up a national sales effort to expand the growth of VSG in the construction of mobile units, fixed facilities, cabling infrastructures and its recent launch into the corporate conference room market. Taylor joins Venue Services Group after having spent three years as President of the OSG Group, Inc., a Chicago based consulting firm, Prior to OSG he was Vice President global broadcast sales at SeaChange International, and spent 18 years with Sony Corporation most recently as a Vice President and General Manager with Sonys Business and Professional Division.

While at the OCG Group, he boosted sales and marketing efforts for many small- to mid-size high tech companies looking to enter new markets. At SeaChange, he was responsible for a global sales force for North and South America, Asia and Europe selling high end server and software solutions. At Sony, Taylor led the Business and Professional Divisions Eastern and Midwest zone sales force, and he was responsible for integrating eight separate business units, direct sales and reseller organizations into an award winning single sales, marketing and technical support organization. His group managed broadcast, cable, post production, education, government and corporate markets for Sony as well as an array of applications and products.

Taylor will oversee the national sales and marketing for Venue Services Group, currently with offices in White Plains, NY and Redmond, WA.
