Conspicuous timing of video's content and release in relationship to war and presidential campaigns

It almost sounds as if he is helping promote Bush and Kerry in the Campaign to justify

The War Against Terrorism,in the name of National Security."

I would have said:

Free people do not give up their freedom in exchange for security, BOTH are important elements of human life, and neither should be had through the sacrifice of the other."

I am a concerned American, who has watched and protested the timing of our government, using national security" as a by-word to take away the freedom of the people. I watched in wonder and outrage, as bills were rushed through congress immediately after 9-11-2001. Rushed through with such speed, that the U.S. people did not even realize what was being enacted. The Patriot Act is a long and in-depth Bill that I believe took a lot of time to compose and refine, yet it was presented and pushed through government channels while the public was still reeling with shock.

In my opinion, the P.A. had been created and held in repose, awaiting an event that would indicate terrorist activity, and the need for the government to have more control, through invasion of our privacy, and greater restrictions on our personal freedoms and constitutional rights. Rights that every American was allowed by our forefathers. Men who had been subjugated to a government that restricted such rights...now our government stands ready and willing to impose these same restrictions upon us the citizens of the United States.

The saddest part is that because of fear, the general population has allowed these rights to be taken. I do not want to surrender mine. I would rather have less security, so that I stay alert, than give up my freedom.

I see many, who are unaware or apathetic to the freedoms surrendered when certain Bills passed through congress and became Laws. These Laws could paralyze the masses when dealing with terrorists on their own doorsteps.

I feel like the War Against Terrorism is out of hand, it is becoming a war that feeds the beast, by invading and destroying the cultures and countries of its alleged opponents. These actions inspire more hate and anger to fester, even among the common people, as American soldiers protect them from terrorism. It may seem more like the armies are conquering in order to rebuild a society reflecting their own ideals.

The United States is not looked upon as a hero for being in the Middle East, rather we are beginning to appear as a bully, who wont put down his weapons and let the fight end. Let us protect ourselves here at home defending our borders instead of invading others.

Every fight has to stop somewhere...when my children argue, I say Let it stop with you, dont say or do anything else to feed the anger."

It seems to me that neither the democrat, nor the republican candidates are interested in the war ending. Let us as citizens demand a stop, before all our freedoms are lost and our children are drafted to participate in a war that protects our freedoms" by taking them away.
