GMV Nashville Adds Classic Titles to Digital Catalog. Terri Hollowell, Country Hits You Missed Vol. 1 Now Available.

Nashville, TN (PRWEB) December 14, 2008 -- Nashville-based digital label GMV Nashville has announced the addition of two new classic titles to their online catalog.

Terri Hollowell's Sunshine Love and the various artist hits collection The Country Hits You Missed Vol. 1 are now available for worldwide purchase at the GMV website (www.gmvnashville.com) and other online outlets such as iTunes, Amazon, Napster and Rhapsody.

"Although we are still in the developmental stages with GMV Nashville, early indications point to a growing demand for many of these types of artists," says GMV spokesperson Matt Watkins. "Their music has been unavailable for quite some time, so we're testing the waters to gauge response. So far, it's been very encouraging."

Sunshine Love is the third Hollowell title released through GMV, and like the other artists on the site, the singer's catalog was originally released through Con Brio Records in the '70s. Con Brio produced a total of 44 nationally charted singles and was named Billboard's Best New Country Label of the Year in 1977.

The Country Hits You Missed Vol. 1 features a collection of songs by Grand Ole Opry legend Jan Howard, songwriters Chester Lester and Scott Summer, and Sheila Tilton, the first Hawaiian singer to debut on the country charts.

A division of Nashville-based new media marketing company AristoWorks, GMV Nashville formed in 2007 as a response to the growing demand for classic country artists online. Artists currently available through the GMV website include Dale McBride, Don King, Terri Hollowell, Lori Parker and the Country Hits You Missed series. Also available is the new Lane Brody single, "Found In Each Other," from her forthcoming 2009 release.

In the late '70s, singer Terri Hollowell charted five singles in the span of two years. They included "Happy Go Lucky Morning," "Strawberry Fields Forever," "Just Stay With Me" and her biggest hit, the Top 40 single "May I (See You Again)." "It's Too Soon to Say Goodbye" earned her an ASCAP Award for chart longevity in 1979. In 1980, Hollowell retired from her short but productive career in the music business to focus on raising a family.
