Ploom Completes a Busy Summer of Design Projects

As one of the Northeast's hottest new design firms, Ploom (ploom.com) had an unusually busy and productive Summer and early Fall, with new digs (a brand-new design space in Providence) and a host of exciting brand, identity, and design projects from June through October, 2004, for Boston's 3 Storey Film Venue, New Wave band Cherry Persuasion, as well as for a major Financial Services Company (in a design already picked as a Website Design Finalist for MITX 2004).

* 3 Storey Brand and Identity Package

Ploom founder Haig Bedrossian developed a total Brand and Identity package for 3 Storey, a progressive film venue for independent filmmakers in Toronto, Canada.

* Cherry Persuasion Identity

* Financial Services Company Brand (Picked as Website Design Finalist for MITX 2004)

Ploom has also completed the user experience and interface design for a major U.S. Financial Services Company, whose highly specialized website allows financial advisors to create customized marketing materials for their businesses. Ploom's elegant and strikingly presented work on this project was met with acclaim from both the client as well as additional financial services companies, who also chose Ploom to design their own new and improved web presences.

In addition, Ploom's original and highly successful Financial Services design led to even further acclaim, resulting in Ploom's choice as a finalist in the Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) 2004 Awards (for Financial Services category website). About Haig Bedrossian

He holds a B.A. in Visual Communication Design and Animation from Ontario College of Art & Design (OCAD), Toronto, and is also currently pursuing a part-time MBA in Design Management from the University of Westminster, in London, U.K.
