QuaTeams employee Shackerah Cupidon helped DC's Badminton Team to gain the second place spot this year at the Boston Invitational.

(PRWEB) November 6, 2004 -- QuaTeams Inc sponsored Shackerah Cupidon, their Marketing Manager, and an accomplished player, to play the Boston Invitational Team Badminton Tournament last weekend. The Boston Invitational Team Badminton Tournament held at the Marblehead High School in Marblehead, MA ended with Maugus A defeating the DC team of which Cupidon is a member.

The final matches were action packed with DC putting up a stellar defense against Maugus As attacking offense. DC, 5th last year, is more than satisfied with their 2nd place achievement this year. DC played gallantly throughout the tournament managing to beat North shore, Maugus B, Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts before finally losing to Maugus A in the finals.

The team events consisted of 11 games; two mens singles, one womens single, three mens doubles, two womens doubles and three mixed doubles. DC capitalized on its main strengths throughout the tournament by pairing strong combination of players for each team they played.

It was a very busy weekend; DC played very well even upsetting last years Champions, New York. New Yorks team has won the Boston Invitational for the last five years. This year, however, with strong opposition from both the DC and Maugus A teams, New York was shut down for the first time in 5 years.
