Fantasy readers everywhere will be content that she did once they read the distinctive and invigorating style of fantasy that only Linda Oness can truly capture for her readers.
This was the first time in many years that I took the time to read a book written primarily for youth. The book, THE TINKERERS, is a debut novel by Ms. Linda Oness. I must say I was very impressed by the author's choice of words and dedication to description of the many places the characters visited. To me, it seemed to combine the sheer impossibility of THE LORD OF THE RINGS and the gentle familiarity of kinship, as seen in WIZARD OF OZ. -Round Table Reviews.
Ms. Oness has written a whimsical adventure novel filled with woodland creatures, fairies, magic, and has created a world reminiscent of THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS or WATERSHIP DOWN. I'm looking forward to more adventures with Paracelsus, and I'm sure a lot of you will be too after finishing this delightful novel. - Barry Hunter; Baryon Magazine.
