NFL Fans Tempt Destiny Wachovia Displays NY Giants Super Bowl Legacy Pompton Plains, NJ (PRWEB) November 10, 2004 -- The original artwork of the NFL licensed NY Giants Super Bowl Commemorative Series" by Olympic artist, Manuel Morales, are on display at Wachovia Bank, 523 Highway 23 South, Pompton Plains, NJ, for the month of November, 2004. The paintings were reproduced as billboards in support of the NY Giants Super Bowl quest during the SB XXI and SB XXV seasons. These historic paintings mark the 2-for-2 wining record of each time the artwork of Manuel Morales was featured on a billboard in support of the NY Giants Super Bowl quest they later went on to win the Super Bowl.
Based on the successful billboard legacy, the Tempt Destiny program was developed to provide fans of the NFL to directly commission the 3rd Tempt Destiny billboard in support of their team by voting at TemptDestiny.com. The fans that generate the most votes for their team by January 8, 2005, reserves the billboard rights for their team. The winning team then needs to make it to the playoffs and win the NFC or AFC Championship game. After which, the 3rd Tempt Destiny billboard, by artist Manuel Morales, will be created and displayed prior to the Super Bowl in hopes to Tempt Destiny to extend the winning billboard record to 3-for-3.
The Tempt Destinyprogram, now in its fifth year, continues to attract the attention of NFL fans from all over the world to compete for this elusive and unique prize. To date, fans have placed approximately 1.5 million votes with the Viking fans way ahead by some 82,000 votes to the second place Rams fans. Suprisingly, the NY Giants fans are a distant sixth place position by more than 127,000 votes. Should the current voting trends continue and the NY Giants continue their winning ways to reach the Super Bowl this season, it would mark the second time (first time being SB XXXV loss) Giants fans allowed their team to reach the Super Bowl without their billboard legacy in place.
Can destiny be tempted by having history repeat itself for a third time, and if so, for which NFL team? The answer is being decided at TemptDestiny.com
