(PRWEB) November 21, 2004 -- 1. 2Godio: World Listen

"World Listen" is a testimonial psalm given by the grace of God. It was birthed through a season in 2godio's life when God began to prune him and show him how he needed to be more like Christ. Musically, "World Listen" will entertain you with great vocals on the hook, bless you through verses of gospel rhymes, and encourage all to live our lives for Christ. Realizing that all good things, gifts, and talents come from the Lord, "World Listen" gives back to The father live soprano saxophone adlibs rendered by 2Godio.

2Godio (Pronounced: to-gotti-o; Meaning To God I Owe) is a 26 year old Memphis native who is walking in what God has ordained on his life. He sings, plays the alto and soprano saxophones and raps. He began singing in the church choir at the age of 8. At 12 years old he sang 1st tenor and recorded his first professional album with the AARC mass community choir which featured gospel legends such as Rev. Clay Evans, Orlando Draper, LaShun Pace, and Milton Brigham. 2Godio began playing the alto saxophone in Jr. High school and he never put it down. He had mastered the soprano saxophone by the time he reached high school. With a true love for music 2Godio began to rap when he was a sophomore @ Middle Tennessee State University. While at MTSU he opened up for Arista records southern hip-hop group, The Nappy Roots in two different cities. After accepting the call that God has on his life, 2Godio became totally committed to holy hip hop. Since doing so the Lord has placed 2Godio on stages with secular artist to minister The Gospel. On Halloween night 2003 2Godio opened up for The Isley Brothers @ Tennessee State University and rendered his interpretation of holy hip hop. The testimonial psalms that he renders empower and encourage those who are sitting in spiritual darkness or who have lost their motivation to live for Christ.

2. F.I.R.E.- Dis MYLife

“Dis My Life" is a song to throw at the enemy and at unbelievers. It promotes bringing glory to God with our lifestyle and our choices by denying our flesh daily and choosing to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. The song's theme is that of Christians living a victorious life through Christ by realizing that they have the authority in Christ to triumph over every spiritual battle!

F.I.R.E.: Forever In Righteousness. In 2003, four young men in Metro-Atlanta, Georgia decided that even though they were only 16 and 17 years old, they would dedicate their lives to Christ, live for His glory and let the whole world know about it. So, rather than standing by and letting hip-hop continue to magnify lifestyles of self-indulgence and death, D-R.O.C., JAEBIIRDE, D-REAL and SNAP put their faith into rhymes, laid them down on holy hip hop tracks and just “let the Lord be magnified .” Not only does F.I.R.E. intend on living up to their name, but they also intend on being the light in the darkness that leads youth away from the curses of sin. The group started when these members of the youth group at International Gospel Outreach, in Smyrna, GA, heard each other’s rhyming skill and found that they all were saying the same thing. God showed them that their music was a desperately needed ministry that would strengthen other young Christian brothers and sisters.

3. Rhymes Elect: Love Concept

Love Concept was written with the purpose to give hope to a generation of young women who have had their lives torn through bad relationships. Many hearts have been broken and lives have been damaged through these relationships gone wrong. Rhymes Elect has come to the spread the encouraging message that no matter how bad or good the relationship, there is only one true love, and that is through a relationship with Jesus Christ, the ultimate Man.

RHYMES ELECT is represented by two emcees, Signet-ring and Verses, and DJ Selah (This Song (Love Concept) Features: TISH). The group's goal is to spread the love of God through hip hop with music that, while current, is contrary to the message promulgated by today’s popular culture. Their ministry has been able to spread the message in Alabama, Georgia, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, Washington DC, and Tennessee. As the group continues to mature, they have realized the need to reach what some have called the “unreachable” with tactful but potent message.

4. Prizm: Watch Ya Back

Watch Ya Back is a song encouraging every Christian, saved by Jesus Christ, to walk in the authority that God has given them. To understand that there is no losing when you’re on the Lord side. Furthermore, with the knowledge of this authority and power given to them, they can be bold enough to tell devil that he had better, WATCH HIS BACK!

PRIZM - Ron Williams was born and raised in the city of Baton Rouge where God snatched him from the streets and put him into spiritual boot-camp. After pruning, purging, and purifying, God gave him a vision for reaching the world through holy hip hop. With musical uniqueness, Prizm has and will continue to bridge the gap between generations, cultures, and denominations. Prizm has devoted his life to the work of the ministry, depending totally on the presence of God to shine through his transparent body.
