Holiday Craft Market Features Work of Local Artists The Agricenter's Farmer's Market will host a Holiday Craft Market every Saturday between now and Christmas. The Market features handcrafted goods, such as jewelry, paintings, and textiles. Shoppers will also find a wide variety of homemade jams and pies to satisfy their sweet tooth. Memphis, TN (PRWEB) November 18, 2004 -- Now that many fruits and vegetables are out of season, the Farmer's Market at the Agricenter will host a different kind of "crop" - namely, the work of local artists and crafters.
The Holiday Craft Market features handcrafted goods, such as jewelry, paintings, and textiles. Past vendors include Serendipity Style (http://www.SerendipityStyle.com), Can I Keep It? (http://www.CanIKeepIt.com), and Solstice Studios (http://www.SolsticeStudios.com). Shoppers will also find a wide variety of homemade jams and pies to satisfy their sweet tooth.
The aim of the Holiday Craft Market is two-fold: First, it gives local artists an inexpensive venue in which to display their creations. Second, it gives shoppers the opportunity to get a jump on their holiday gift shopping in a relaxing, festive environment. Shoppers can be confident that they are getting a quality, handcrafted product. Many items displayed at the Market are one-of-a-kind and sure to make the recipient feel special.
The market is located in the lower level of the red barn building at 7777 Walnut Grove Road. Market hours are 10:00am to 5:00pm, every Saturday between now and Christmas. Admission is free.
