Tom Quinn Joins MarketStance as VP Undewriting Applications

Tom Quinn, a thrity-three year underwriting veteran, has joined insurance statistical firm, MarketStance, in the newly created position of Vice President Underwriting Applications.

Middletown, CT (PRWEB) November 29, 2004 -- Thomas E. Quinn has joined MarketStance as Vice President Underwriting Applications for the insurance statistical, business information and analytical services firm that specializes in support for the US insurance industry.

Mr. Quinn is a thirty-three year P&C underwriting veteran. In the newly-created position, he will work with MarketStance Founder and Chief Information Engineer, Dr. Fritz Yohn, to develop and enhance the companys statistical information products and analysis services for risk assessment and underwriting applications. Mr. Quinn will also serve as a member of the MarketStance analysis team delivering analytical solutions for underwriting management, as well as provide application training support for customers.

Mr. Quinn has experience as an underwriting manager in primary and excess property and casualty lines. He is experienced in all aspects of large and middle market account underwriting and product development. Previously he was Underwriting Vice President, Commercial Lines with Royal & SunAlliance Insurance, managing a $50 million book of manufacturing business. He additionally served as Director, Program and Business Development. Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Construction Underwriting with Travelers Property Casualty and held various positions in underwriting, field management and claims administration with Aetna Casualty and Surety.

A CPCU and Associate in Risk Management, Mr. Quinn earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola College, Baltimore, Maryland.
