The 2005 Pink Ribbon Men of Marin calendar boys" are ready for their final group shot. They are shamelessly dropping their drawers in spite of the cold to help raise awareness and funds to support breast cancer education, research and patient services.

Larkspur, CA (PRWEB) November 24, 2004 -- On a frigid, foggy Saturday morning perched on a hillside in Marin county, Steve Braun is huddled on the ground covering his two year old son Milo, while one of the other twelve men sporting nothing but pink, fuzzy, Santa hats is jumping up and down, covering his naked body with a blanket, in order to stay warm. The Pink Ribbon Men of Marin Project is the brainchild of Devyani Kamdar and Veronica Napoles. Veronica says, the tasteful black and white images can best be described as Ansel Adams meets The Full Monty." Devyani Kamdar adds, Every man in the calendar has a very personal reason for posing and their emotional involvement with the cause comes through in these stunningly beautiful portraits."

Participating in the project gives men an opportunity to support the cause and to honor the women in their lives affected by breast cancer.

Breast cancer is now an epidemic in the United States. Over 40,000 women in the U.S. will die from breast cancer this year and one of every seven American women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime. Marin County has the highest breast cancer rate in the country and leads the fight to find the cause and the cure.
