Ice Hotel Quebec-Canada: Students to Participate in an Interior Architectural Event

A unique architectural event encouraging the next general of design professionals will be held at the Ice Hotel this season. The selected designs by nine university students will be released November 30, 2004 and turned into reality as Theme Suites.

Quebec, Canada (PRWEB) November 23, 2004 -- Another first at the Ice Hotel during its 5th anniversary: An interior architectural event designed to encourage the next generation in this field. This unique event will be held under the direction of honorary president Mr. Dan Hanganu. Nine architecture students from Université Laval, Université de Montréal, and McGill University will have the chance to see their concept become reality in one of this seasons Ice Hotel Theme Suites. The selected concepts will be announced during the press conference launch of Ice Hotels 5th season in Quebec City on November 30.

Returning this year with an innovative design are the Hilton and the Hbc Suites, as well as a new suite with children specifically in mind. All of these special suite concepts will give the anniversary edition of the Ice Hotel a renewed decor and never-before-seen style.

Honorary President:

Mr. Hanganu, internationally known architect, has accepted to preside over this unique event. His experience decorating a suite last season with a unique and modern concept for the Dan H Suite will surely help him with the selection process of the best concepts for their design and realisation potential. Joining him in this task will be Mr. Émile Gilbert, the current architect and artisan who has been involved since the early days of the Ice Hotel.
