Paterson, NJ (PRWEB) January 5, 2009 -- Form Fit and Function (F3) Engineering, a company that develops and produces proprietary motion control products for mission-critical military and commercial applications, has been selected by the U.S. Navy to provide engineering services as part of the SeaPort Enhanced (SeaPort-e) Rolling Admissions, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)/Multiple Award contract.

SeaPort-e is the electronic portal system through which the Navy, including the Marine Corps, develops strategic commercial business relationships on a corporate level.

The Government estimates a maximum of $5.3 billion of services will be procured per year through orders issued under the SeaPort-e multiple award contracts.

F3 Engineering qualified and was approved to provide services in four of the seven national zones and 11 of the 22 functional areas defined by SeaPort-e.

F3 Engineering will focus on:

•    Configuration Management Support

F3 will compete for awards involving the above services throughout the Northeast, National Capitol Region, Gulf Coast and Midwest zones.

Since 2006, F3 Engineering has been awarded $8.7 million in contracts from the Navy, including a $2.5 million contract for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) that involved the development and manufacturing of an electronic device to manage rapid distribution of mission data files for Navy and Marine Corps aircraft.

The awarding of this contract continues and enhances the working relationship with the Department of Defense in general and the U.S. Navy in particular.

"This award represents much hard work, commitment and growth since graduating from the Picatinny Technology Innovation Center in 2007," said Odilo Vazquez, F3 Engineering President. "We are anxious to participate in the SeaPort-e program and compete for opportunities to provide our services."
