Spinal Research Fundraising Organization Needs Corporate Sponsors For Christmas Fundraising Event.

The International Institute for Spinal Regeneration Is Seeking Corporate Sponsors For Their "SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS" Fundraiser on December 15, 2004

(PRWEB) November 26, 2004 -- The International Institute for Spinal Regeneration (http://www.iisr.net), which is based in Hamilton, Ontatio, Canada is committed to broadening public awareness about the importance of spinal cord / spinal regeneration research and to raising the funds necessary to continue this very important research that is being conducted world-wide.

The IISR is planning our First Annual SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS FUNDRAISER" on Wednesday, December 15, and are seeking members of the corporate and business community who would like to become Corporate Sponsors for this fundraiser in support of Spinal Cord Injury and Spinal Regeneration Research.

The IISR are inviting members of the community to join us for an intimate, fun filled evening designed for the entire family featuring Internationally Renowned Entertainer and Pianist Linda Gentille (http://www.lindagentille.com) with special guests including local entertainers, VIPs and of course a visit from the Jolly Old Man himself.

Special guests will include:

•    Members of the Golden Horseshoe Marathon, a team of 5 wheelchair athletes who complete a 210 kilometer from Niagara Falls, Ontario to the Queens Park in Toronto to raise money and awareness for spinal cord / regeneration research. •    Jenn Stewart, who was studying to became a registered nurse when she was left a quadriplegic after a swimming accident in 2002. Jenn resumed her studies and this fall graduated from Mohawk College as a registered nurse (full story at http://www.iisr.net);

•    Dr. Michel Rathbone, a leading scientist in spinal regeneration from Hamiltons McMaster University.

Thoses attending THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS will witness Lindas many extraordinary talents including her ability to speak 9 different languages and mesmerize her audience by performing with one hand.

The profit from THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS with Linda Gentille will go directly to the INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR SPINAL REGENERATION; A Hamilton based fundraising organization that is dedicated to funding spinal research with the sole aim of ending the permanence of paralysis caused by spinal cord injury and neurological diseases.

For Corporate Sponsorship of $300.00, sponsors will receive:

•    signage in the venue (3 x 4 ') (Corporate Sponsors will also be permitted to hang their own signage;

•    place in the venue for an exhibition table, with electrical outlet included.

•    mention in all press and media releases;

•    a business card size ad in the event program;

•    a banner for our rotating banner program on the IISR website until Jan 1, 2005;

•    from Dec 1, 4 mentions a night (Monday -- Friday) until December 14 on the internationally syndicated late night talk show The 'X Zone;

•    a corporate photo with Linda Gentille;

•    a special Thank You Certificate from the IISR.

THE SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS fundraiser will be held at the Renaissance Banquet & Special Events Centre, located at 2289 Barton Street East (Near Nash Road) in Hamilton, Ontario.

Tickets for this event are $50.00 per person which includes a complete dinner and Christmas entertainment, featuring Linda Gentille, visit from Santa and much, much more.
