CompleteTV Completes Acquisition of CIMA Technologies IPR and Assets

Providing Chinese engineering team and significant Over-the-Top IPTV technologies

As an IPTV set top box developer, CIMA has been focused on both the IPTV and hospitality markets. CIMA has developed some highly competitive technology with its Elegance and Industria set top products and supporting software in the area of IPTV integrated web browsing and Adobe™ Flash Player user interfaces.

The CIMA development team in China will enable CompleteTV to accelerate its Over-the-Top development plans and also ensure the company can achieve a greater number of custom developments for new and existing customers.

CompleteTV has established a Hong Kong office that will be headed up by Angus Kirkwood, who will become CompleteTV's Vice President of Asia Operations.

CTV will continue to support the existing CIMA customer base with both CIMA and CTV products and will immediately embark on a product consolidation strategy to optimise the product line for various target markets.

In 2009 CTV will invest and grow the development and testing facility in China to support new, large volume contracts.
