30% Increase in Holiday Purchases of Antiques & Collectibles

Online Holiday sales of antiques and collectibles up 30% over last year.

Garden City, NY (PRWEB) December 3, 2004

TIAS.com (http://www.tias.com) the Webs largest online antique and collectible mall, today reported a 30% increase in same month sales for November 2004 vs 2003.

Management attributes the dramatic increase in sales volume to Holiday shoppers being much more comfortable about making online purchases. Through surveys and feedback from shoppers, the single most important issue voiced by TIAS customers over the past year has been the security of their online purchases.

"Having well over half a million unique items for sale online brings in a lot of lookers." said Phillip Davies President of TIAS.com "We've found that the best way to convert lookers to buyers is by making sure that our customers are aware that we have been selling online for 10 years and the site is a safe and secure place for them to make a purchase."

Visible security measures on the site include services provided by VeriSign and ScanAlert. On the back end, TIAS also utilizes security hardware and customized proprietary software.

Based on November 2004 sales, December 2004 should be an exciting month for online Holiday shopping at TIAS.
