Grand Rapids, MI (PRWEB) December 3, 2004 -- Securitar Telecom, LLC (SecTel"), the Global Leader in Secured and Assured Messaging and Secured Convergence Solutions, announced today the much awaited release of version 3.0 of the S12 GUI. Version 3.0 continues to provide S12s clients with a user-friendly, low-cost and secure method of sending and receiving Certified E-mail" but now it does so in an operating system independent fashion thus creating greater flexibility and stability.

S-12 is designed for organizations requiring the highest standard in security and reliability for e-mail, messaging, wire transfers, legally binding electronic signatures, and any other file transfer. S-12 has the highest levels of encryption available today and is continually being improved upon to ensure that an S-12 SAM (secured and assured message) remains encrypted to all except the intended recipient.

In the words of SecTels Chief Technology Officer, Curt Morgan, an S-12 SAM works like this: The sender digitally signs a message; it is encrypted and sent to the main server, or post office, while the sender keeps a copy of the digitally signed document. The post office digitally signs a receipt indicating that it has in fact received the message, it is then forwarded to the recipient and the post office digitally signs a proof of delivery. Once it arrives at the recipients mailbox, it is decrypted, the digital signature is verified, and an acknowledgement is sent back to the sender. No more lost e-mails," or bewilderment on whether or not an important message or document has been read." And finally, Morgan states that all this exists in an incredibly thin node that the user can take and use on any machine with a USB port. This is the ultimate in mobility and in ease of deployment."

The S12 system is owned and operated by Securitar Telecom, LLC, (SecTel) is a privately held company. SecTel's management experience spans decades diversely in the broadcast, telecom and satcom fields with projects accomplished in over 90 countries world-wide for various governments and private sector clients.
