BlogCAD Website Launches Cad News by Cad Users.

BlogCAD is the first blog dedicated to Cad news, where stories are directly submitted by readers, following the Slashdot model.

Milano, Italy, (PRWEB) December 5, 2004 -- BlogCAD is the first blog dedicated to Cad (Computer Aided Design) news, where stories are directly submitted by readers, following the Slashdot model. BlogCAD's goal is to be a place where you can find quality summarized news on all CAD subjects, from users point of view. The BlogCAD mission is to create a space for CAD users, transforming them into active players of CAD news.

Like OhmyNews web site, it's an example of "participatory journalism" where users can become the media if they want and not only a passive reader. "Finally we think that CAD News submitted by readers and CAD news with genuine users comments, are more attractive than "cold" technical press releases", said one of the BlogCAD member. BlogCAD's idea is to give the CAD users the power to create and distribute news related to CAD topics. Think at BlogCAD as a sort of Slashdot for CAD.

Bandwidth, hosting and hardware comes comes from ProgeSOFT. (Learn more about ProgeSOFT at http://www.progesoft.com). BlogCAD will post new CAD related items that have been submitted by readers so...submit a story now by visiting www.blogcad.com. First stories will be posted starting on Monday December 6.
