Local Studio, Yoga by Merlin, Relocates, Expands; Loveland Yoga Studio Nearly Triples its Space, Adds New Services, Classes

Yoga by Merlin, northern Colorado's premier yoga studio, has relocated to new, larger space. The studio's new facility, located at 217 12th Street Southwest in Loveland, offers 2,500 square feet of space, an improvement over the 992 square feet at the previous location. The additional space allows for new massage and acupuncture services and nutrition and cooking classes, as well as an expanded offering of yoga classes.

(PRWEB) December 6, 2004 -- "We had been looking for an opportunity to expand, as we had more demand than we could accommodate in our old space," notes Merlin Perkins, owner. "When this wonderful space opened up in the midst of a little artists' enclave, with great artistic energy, it was just the right opportunity for us. It's been fun, and a great thrill, to design and decorate the space and move forward on all the new things we've wanted to do for some time."

Yoga by Merlin opened its new space on December 1, and a grand opening event will be scheduled for early in 2005. The studio now offers more than twenty classes a week from early morning through evening, along with special events in a family-friendly environment. More classes will be added to the schedule soon, and a new instructor is likely to join the business, as well.

The current yoga instructional staff includes owner Merlin, along with Breanna Bain, Alita Gatzke, Mary Kay Koldeway and Aimee Ryel. Pilates sessions are offered by Kevin McCabe. Massage will be offered by Bhanu Kapil, and Annmarie Yeager will provide acupuncture services, including a new facial rejuvenation technique.

The studio offers a variety of classes, including, Pilates, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini, Yoga for athletes, school teachers and children, Yoga Trance Dance, meditation, Adult Jazz and Reiki Treatments. The Raindrop Technique formulated by Gary Young of Young Living Essential Oils is a favorite treatment for Merlin to perform.

Wellness Coaching is offered as an ongoing partnership between client and coach designed to assist students in making appropriate and lasting lifestyle changes and address any acute and/or chronic conditions.

Cooking Classes focus on completely changing attendees' experience of cooking and eating healthy. The key factor missing for most people's health is having high-quality food that's easy to make and tastes good. Students learn informative, motivating and inspiring tips on how to eat with control and power. All dishes are 100% non-allergenic and are designed to provide a strong, lean, energized body; better digestion; a stronger immune system; more energy; relief from allergies; and healthier skin.

Cooking classes offered include Mastering Eating for Your Optimal Body; Five Principles of Eating; Carry a Good Food Bag; Daily Eating Formula; Weekly Cleanse; and Empowerment Techniques.

"I thank the Goddess that I found Merlin Perkins right here in little old Loveland, Colorado," notes student Nan Quandt. "She has been a wonderful coach, guide and friend. More importantly, she IS all that she teaches."
