Florida Water & Wastewater Survey Released by MultiTrode

The economic outlook for cities has caused 75% to cut their capital works budget and 63% to cut their operational budget.

The survey shows that meeting regulatory requirements is seen as the biggest challenge -- especially as these only get tighter every year. Ageing of existing infrastructure far outweighs growing infrastructure as a challenge -- and with capital works budgets cut and regulations getting tighter, Florida utilities are clearly in a very difficult position.
