New Business Book, "Zero Debt", Hits New York Times Bestsellers List

Author Shares Secrets of How She Conquered $100,000 in Credit Card Debt

New York, NY (PRWEB) December 6, 2004 - A new personal finance book, by former Wall Street Journal reporter Lynnette Khalfani, has hit the New York Times extended bestsellers list just two months after publication.

In "Zero Debt": The Ultimate Guide to Financial Freedom, (Advantage World Press; $14.95; Oct. 1, 2004; ISBN: 1-932450-75-0) money coach Lynnette Khalfani reveals how -- despite her personal finance savvy -- she once had more than $100,000 in credit card debt. But she was able to pay off her debt in less than three years -- without filing for bankruptcy, enrolling in a debt management plan, receiving credit counseling or getting any negative marks on her credit.

Lynnette reveals the secrets to wealth and debt elimination in her powerful yet practical book. "Zero Debt" currently ranks #8 on the New York Times business paperback bestsellers list. And due to strong national demand, "Zero Debt" is in its third printing, with 60,000 copies in print.

"Zero Debt" has really struck a nerve with Americans in all income brackets" says Khalfani, who has been featured recently on The Dr. Phil Show, The Jane Pauley Show, as well as The Tavis Smiley Show. I think theres tremendous interest in "Zero Debt" because far too many families are living paycheck to paycheck, are stressed out over their finances, and feeling overwhelmed by excessive credit card bills."

Thats why I wrote "Zero Debt"," adds Khalfani. I wanted to offer people a message of hope, along with some little-known strategies for achieving financial freedom. I know that if I could get rid of $100,000 in credit card debt, so can millions of others out there who are deep in debt."

"Zero Debt" is written as a 30-day action plan on how to eliminate credit card debt and other financial woes. The book also offers tips on budgeting, the importance of having insurance, low-cost methods for creating an updated will, advice on how to save money, and more.

Khalfani writes a syndicated column called Financially Fit" and is a frequent money expert on TV and radio programs across the U.S. She also teaches financial literacy workshops and seminars that focus on money management, credit and debt, financial planning and investments. Her first book was called Investing Success: How to Conquer 30 Costly Mistakes & Multiply Your Wealth!
