RIC International has appointed Dr. Xaiojun (June) Xie as the company's new Director of Medical Translation.

Dr. Xie combines a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Clark University with seven years of experience in managing large, complex language translation and localization projects for major technical translation companies. Dr. Xie has directed accounts for such major Fortune 500 clients as Ericsson, Cisco Systems and Sun Microsystems. In addition to her translation and bio-medical experience, Dr. Xie has also lectured nationally on a multitude of medical and biochemistry topics ranging from transcriptional regulation of the lactase gene to the practical aspects of experiments on recombinant DNA. In her new role as Director of Medical Translation, Dr. Xie will manage medical translation and localization projects for RIC Internationals growing roster of medical, pharmaceutical, and Contract Research Organization (CRO) clients, such as Amgen, Ajinomoto, Affymetrics, Pfizer, Merck, PRA, and Quintiles Transnational.
