Affiliate Summit Conference Defies the Recession

Affiliate Summit, the premier conference in affiliate marketing, continues to grow during the economic downturn.

Berkeley Heights, NJ (PRWEB) January 21, 2009 -- Affiliate Summit, the premier conference in affiliate marketing, held their latest conference January 11-13, 2009 in Las Vegas and the year to year numbers for attendees and exhibit hall booths continued the trend of increasing since inception in 2003.

The Affiliate Summit conferences are presented by Shawn Collins and Missy Ward. The show provides an opportunity for affiliate marketing and search engine marketing executives to get together and learn from one another in a unique, cooperative environment.

The Affiliate Summit West 2009 conference had over 3,200 registered attendees, as well as countless affiliate marketing industry folks that were turned away, due to a sell-out.

The first day of the conference features the Affiliate Meet Market, where 100 vendors staffed tables and networked with attendees. The exhibit hall had 140 booths on the second and third days of the conference - the most booths of any Affiliate Summit events.

The Keynote Speaker was Gary Vaynerchuk, star of Wine Library TV and Director of Operations at Wine Library in Springfield, NJ. In addition to the thousands of people who viewed the keynote address in person, several thousand others viewed a live stream online, as well as in the archives at Ustream.tv.
