Utah Company Rides the LIVESTRONG Wristband Wave BAND-ITS.com joins the LIVESTRONG wristband rage by offering any group, school, company or organization the chance to create their own custom silicone wristbands in the LIVESTRONG style. Initially available for a $1 donation at Nike outlet stores and online at www.wearyellow.com, the bands have proven so popular that have been sold out for months and LAF shows a 6 to 8 week waiting list for the hot items as sales of more than 100,000 per day continue to roll in. Incredibly, LAF reported record high one-day sales of 382,000 wristbands on September 20th.
Since their introduction, the little yellow icons can be seen everywhere selling over 20 million bands to citizens in all 50 states and over 60 countries.
Creating a custom wristband was really a lark; something we did for one customer because of the Lance thing. From that, things just spread like wildfire. We threw up a website and now, almost overnight, our client list includes The University of Texas, Oregon State University, MidAmerica Nazarene University, Dartmouth College, a few charitable organizations, dozens of high schools across the country, and several other groups from as far away as Chicago, New York and Connecticut" Masters continued, the response to these things has truly been phenomenal."
We can put any message you want on the band in any color you need for your basketball team, club, group or whatever," Masters said, I cant explain why they are so popular, but I am not going to complain. All I know is that people now stop me at the store to ask about my bands and neighborhood kids wait on my doorstep when I get home from work because they want to see what new bands I have with me!"
