Contrasts in Fight Against Modern-day Slavery

(PRWEB) December 19, 2004 -- Perhaps it has to do with whether or not one is fighting this horror because they are getting paid to do so, or whether it is because they, themselves, are suffering tremendously due to someone they love having been taken victim. But it appears that, despite growing awareness that the war against local terrorism and global organized crime networks associated with modern-day slavery requires unified international effort, disparity between efforts currently being carried out point to the immediacy of the need for that international unity.
