Filament Winding 2005, the world's leading convention and exhibition for filament winding of composite materials, will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on October 12 - 14, 2005. After the great success of the previous conventions in 1998 and 2001 Material organizes this event for the third time.

Brussels, Belgium (PRWEB) December 19, 2004 -- Filament Winding 2005, the world's leading convention and exhibition for filament winding of composite materials, will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on October 12 - 14, 2005. After the great success of the previous conventions in 1998 and 2001 Material organizes this event for the third time.

The convention program will feature 17 papers about the latest developments in equipment, software, raw materials, process technology and product design for filament winding technology. As on the previous conventions the presenters will come from different countries all over the world permitting the participants to gain a global perspective of the state of the art in filament winding technology.

An extended table top exhibition will be on display. Suppliers of raw materials, machinery, software, engineering services and other equipment for filament winding technology will present their products.

One main objective of the convention is to bring together filament winding engineers. There will be enough time between presentations for informal talks and direct exchange of know-how and experience.

In 1998 Material organized the first international convention for filament winding technology. The very successful event attracted 125 participants from 22 countries. The second convention was held in 2001 and drew 155 visitors from 31 countries.
