Sharon Bloodworth recently was recognized for her philanthropic efforts in re-building a Kindergarten in Indonesia. Bloodworth's efforts were recognized by "The Glass Hammer" a website focused on the business and professional needs of professional women working in law, finance and business. Bloodworth is Vice-President at White Oaks Wealth Advisors a fee-only wealth management firm headquartered in Minneapolis, MN.

Like our new President, Barack Obama, Sharon also spent part of her childhood in Indonesia. She funded the rebuilding of a kindergarten in Indonesia after it was destroyed in an earthquake. The school is now named Sophia's Sunshine School and provides 50 students access to education. "Education is the great equalizer" remarked Bloodworth. "Sophia's Sunshine School will likely provide 500 students with an important start to a lifetime of learning over the next 10 years" she added "We are very proud Sharon's charitable works have been recognized. Her actions have benefitted many and is a reflection of her strong belief in lifetime giving so others can have a better life" said Bob Klosterman, President and CEO of White Oaks Wealth Advisors, Inc.
