Indianapolis, IN (PRWEB) December 21, 2004 -- Indianapolis will have a new complex for musicians in 2005. Phase one of the Music Garage is currently under construction on Indys north side at 6828 Hawthorn Park Drive, located in Hawthorn Park. It will feature a digital recording studio, rehearsal suites, and instrument and equipment storage closets and offer c.d. duplication.

The Music Garage is scheduled to be open by mid-January. Chris Wodock and Chris Rasmussen, both Indianapolis natives who have known each other since childhood, are founders of the Music Garage. Wodock and Rasmussen plan to operate the studio seven days a week. The facility will offer accessory items for purchase and a musicians lounge area in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Wodock and Rasmussen have been in the music scene since the late 1980s. They spent ten years in Austin, Texas, playing in a band called 50 Mission Crush and touring all over the country. The band opened up for various artists including Sugar Ray, Michelle Branch, Lifehouse, Vertical Horizon, Nine Days, Cowboy Mouth, Valejo, Junior Brown, and others.

The whole idea was born from the fact that we had trouble finding affordable recording and rehearsal space for our own band," said Wodock. We saw a need in the market and wanted to offer a solution!" The Music Garage Web site, www.mymusicgarage.com, features rental fees and information about the facility.
