The Ongoing Search for the Historical Jesus

Christmas and Easter rejuvenate the exploration of Jesus. Is it a promising endeavor, or merely a hopeless dream? This author believes they are searching for answers in all the wrong places.

(PRWEB) December 23, 2004 -- There is an attempt by the media to verify the factuality of a historical Jesus. After 2000 years, He is still the most important person who ever lived. He is headline news for magazines and newspapers, a primary topic on talk radio and TV, the central theme for TV documentaries and the keynote figure for many best selling books.

The quest for answers about Jesus has only yielded more confusion through countless conflicting reports. We find there are two sides involved in solving this issue. One side is determined to find and document the proof of Jesus' existence, while the other side is bent on distorting any semblance of that evidence.

The simplicity of Jesus is reflected in the simple life He led. Except for His birth and a brief mention of His parents finding Him teaching in the temple at age twelve, little is known about His early life.

The ministry of Jesus began at age thirty. It was truly dynamic, electrifying and energetic. Nevertheless, Scripture reveals that Jesus carried that simple life with Him into His ministry.

During His ministry He never owned a home, went to college, wrote a book or ran for office. He never traveled more than 200 miles from His birthplace. He was sentenced to death with the approval of those He came to help. He did nothing worthy of death except teach contrary to those who opposed Him. While He was dying, His executioners gambled for the only property He owned; His clothing. He was even buried in a borrowed tomb.

The chances are, we shall never find any physical proof of Jesus' life on earth. After all, He ascended into heaven with everything He owned as His disciples watched Him go up.

The only place you will find substantiated details about Jesus is in the Bible. For centuries, Bible students and scholars pursued an ongoing task to produce evidence regarding who Jesus really is. The only rewards for their effort was a doctrine called the mystery of the Trinity.

Now at the onset of this twenty first century, we have obtained a revelation to that mystery. After three years of investigating the Trinity, author Tom Bosse has documented the results in a book entitled, "The Unveiling of the Trinity." Not only does it contain answers to the mystery of the Trinity, but it also discloses the mysteries of life.

Is this the answer that the media spends untold hours seeking? We believe it is. For those searching for evidence of Jesus' time on earth through fictional writings or documentaries, you might well save your time, and/or money. There are voices everywhere today telling us that they have the right answer. The uncertainty of life is too great to be wrong.

"The Unveiling of the Trinity" is the one book that does away with the mystery associated with the Trinity. It provides the evidence everyone is searching for, but will never find by looking in all the wrong places.
