Wilkes Barre, PA (PRWEB) January 29, 2009 Wilkes-Barre, PA. (PRWEB) January 29, 2009 -- Sundance Vacations gave $1,000 to a local Kings College student Robert Crowell. Sundance Vacations sponsored 'Party on the Square' in September to support and interact with local college students during the community event in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Sundance Vacations held a contest for all college students enrolled at any local school, such as Kings College, Wilkes University, Misericordia University, Penn State University-Wilkes-Barre, and Luzerne County Community College. All students who participated are kept on file for possible recruitment to Sundance Vacations. Students signed up to win a Spring Break trip valued at $1,000. The winner was also given the opportunity to apply the prize money toward their college tuition. Robert Crowell, a senior from Kings College was the lucky winner and he will be taking the Spring Break trip, much to his mother's dismay. "I was shocked at first, but I'm definitely taking the Spring Break trip for sure. My friends and I are thinking Mexico," said Crowell. "Thank you so much Sundance Vacations, I'm so happy I won the contest, I'm still pinching myself," added Crowell. "Party on the Square is a great opportunity for local businesses to introduce themselves to the incoming class and returning students of our local colleges," said Sundance Vacations Founder Tina Dowd. "We met more than 400 students in a few hours, many of whom were qualified to be future Sundance Vacations employees," added Dowd. About Sundance Vacations
