Shinnston, WV/Jersey City, NJ (PRWEB) January 2, 2005

Kush and Associates, LLC, a political consulting firm with offices in West Virginia and New Jersey, once noted for its “bold and boisterous campaign style that constantly skirts the inflammatory” is at it again.

In the firm’s popular newsletter, The Kush Report which is emailed to over 1,200 recipients and posted on the firm’s website, they have released the 2004 Kushy Awards.

James Barracato, Kush and Associates managing partner, said, “We’ve always thought about giving what might be considered off-the-wall awards, now it’s a reality. My personal favorite is the ‘All Those Beers Ago’ award. I wonder if the recipient, Jersey City Mayor Jerramiah Healy, is going to like it?”

Steve Kush, Kush and Associates president and founding partner, added, “There was no way Golan Cipel was going to escape receiving the ‘Monica Lewinsky’ award. Does he really expect anyone to believe he had nothing to do with Jim McGreevey resigning New Jersey’s governorship? Cipel is the main reason McGreevey received the ‘Gay But Not Happy’ award.”

The firm issued 14 Kushy Awards. The awards and their recipients can be viewed on the Kush and Associates website, http://www.kushandassociates.com.
