ATS Corporation receives ISO 13485 certification

(PRWEB) February 1, 2009 -- ATS Corporation recently received ISO 13485 certification: 2003, Quality Management Standard for Medical Devices. The certification to this standard, an internationally recognized management system standard developed by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is a requirement for the manufacturing of commercial medical devices. Some of the additional requirements relate to design controls, process controls (including environmental controls), special processes, traceability, record retention, and regulatory actions, which are critical for the medical electronics device industry.
