Net-linx Signs Contract with MTS Media for nxStar Publishing System

Net-linx Americas is pleased to announce an agreement to supply its suite of yellow page publishing solutions to MTS Media Inc., the largest directory publisher for the province of Manitoba, Canada.

Edmonton, Canada (PRWEB) January 9, 2005 -- The agreement calls for the implementation of a fully integrated publishing solution which will be used to manage advertising content for printed directories.

MTS Media made a strategic decision to bring back in-house production operations that had previously been outsourced. A solution was needed that would provide strong production capabilities and solve the need for a single system to manage their directories.

The system was installed and users were trained in a mere 8 weeks, after which ad booking started for a new product called On The Go".

The net-linx publishing system is a suite of products consisting of nxStar, a contract and listing management solution, nxAdSmart, a graphics workflow management and scheduling solution, and nxPageSmart, the award winning directory pagination solution.

The system will replace several disparate systems and consolidate many databases into one. It will manage all the necessary pre-press functions including service orders, listings, pre-sales planning, contracts, post-sales tracking, customer care, art tracking, page composition, distribution and reporting.
